Need help with BrewPrint? Most answers are below. If you're still stuck, email support@brewprint.app and we'll get back to you as soon as we can. BrewPrint is made by an independent developer, so please be patient (and please don't email about medical questions; those are for a doctor or pharmacist (see the Medical Disclaimer)).

Common questions

How do I log a drink? Tap the + button in the center of the tab bar, pick a drink (or a Recent / Saved / Custom item), and tap Log. You can also create a custom entry with your own name and amount.

How do reminders work? Reminders are local notifications you set yourself: a morning prompt, a caffeine cutoff before your bedtime, and an optional medication reminder. Enable notifications when prompted (or in iOS Settings → BrewPrint → Notifications). Nothing is sent to any server.

The caffeine numbers seem off for me. Caffeine "active amount," half-life, and cutoff times are estimates based on population averages. They are not a measurement of what is in your body, and you must not rely on them for any health, caffeine, sleep, or medication decision. You can set your own daily limit, bedtime, and custom drink values. For personal guidance, talk to a doctor or pharmacist (see the Medical Disclaimer).

How do I restore a purchase / manage my subscription? On the paywall, tap Restore Purchase to recover access bought with the same Apple ID. To manage or cancel a subscription, go to iOS Settings → [your name] → Subscriptions. All billing, renewals, and refunds are handled by Apple (we can't process refunds; request those through Apple at reportaproblem.apple.com).

Do you collect my data? Where is it stored? No data is collected. BrewPrint is fully offline (everything is stored on your device, with no account, server, cloud, or analytics). See the Privacy Policy.

How do I delete my data? Use the reset controls in Settings inside the app, or delete the app to remove its local data from your device. Because there's no cloud copy and we never receive your data, we also cannot recover it for you. Deleted data is gone permanently. If you want to keep your data, back up your device through Apple before resetting or deleting the app.

Is the medication feature a dosing tool? No. It's a passive log for your own reference (it doesn't recommend, schedule, or calculate doses). Always follow your prescriber's instructions. See the Medical Disclaimer.

Which devices are supported? iPhone on iOS 17 or later.

Emergencies

BrewPrint is not for emergencies. If you think you're having a medical emergency, call your local emergency number (911 in Canada/US) or your local poison control center.
